Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Occupation In-Demand is a program for skilled workers who has no job offer in the province but are highly skilled in an in-demand occupation. In order to qualify for this program, there are certain requirements that must be met by the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for SINP Occupation In-Demand program the candidate must:

  • Have one or more years of experience in the last 10 years that relates to his or her field of training or education
  • Have a language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 or higher
  • Have a Saskatchewan Nominee Program points score of minimum 60 or higher out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
  • Have completed 12 months of training, internship or post-secondary education that has resulted in a degree, diploma or certificate and is comparable to the equivalent Canadian education
  • Have a sufficient settlement plan as well as proof of enough settlement funds
  • If the occupation is regulated in Saskatchewan and requires mandatory licensing, he or she must submit the proof of eligibility under the local regulatory body
