Yukon Nominee Program is run by the Government of Yukon in partnership with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) under the agreement of Canada-Yukon Cooperation on Immigration. This allows Yukon to nominate the skilled workers for the permanent residency. When eligible employers in Yukon cannot find the Canadian citizens and permanent residents to fulfill the full-time jobs, they can find eligible candidates from outside Canada. Yukon Nominee Program(YNP) selects the internationally skilled candidates and send them Canadian permanent visas to come and work in Yukon under one of the following Streams.
Yukon Express Entry Stream
Yukon added the Express Entry Stream to its existing Immigration Programs in March 2015. To enter the Express Entry pool, Candidates need to be eligible for any of the below 3 federal economic immigration programs:
Candidates who are eligible for any of the above federal programs can create an Express Entry profile on the IRCC website. Based on the information provided by the candidate, his or her profile can be given points. The top-ranked profiles are invited to apply for permanent residence.
