Parent & Grand Parent Super Visa

• You can apply if you are a Parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents
• You cannot be inadmissible to Canada on the basis of health or security.

Kindly note: only parents or grandparents, with their spouse or common-law partners maybe included under Super visa.

The application process almost same as regular TRV, but some additional documentation is required for make sure that the parents and grandparents will be properly supported during their time in Canada. Details are giving below:

• You need a letter of invitation from the child or grandchild residing in Canada;
• Your child or grandchild need to meets the Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO) minimum (see table below);
• You need the proof of parental relationship with child or grandchild, such as a birth certificate that names him or her as a parent.
• You have to take medical insurance coverage for minimum one year with a Canadian insurance company.

The application should be processed with the Canadian visa office in your home country.

Once you submitted the application, Canadian Visa officers will check your family ties, finance and other connections that lie outside Canada, you have to take medical examinations for complete the process.

If you wish to apply a Canada Super Visa, the child or grandchild who is inviting their parents or grandparents need to prove that their household meets the required minimum necessary income. Documents are as below

• You need to submit Notice of Assessment (NOA) or T4/T1 for the most recent tax year;
• You need to submit Employment Insurance stubs
• You need to submit Employment Insurance stubs
• You need to submit an employment letter including salary and date of hiring;
• Pay stubs; or
• Last one year bank statements.
