1. International Skilled worker :-
International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer
This sub-category is for skilled workers who:
- Have an offer for a skilled job in Saskatchewan.
- Meet the criteria of the sub-category.
Eligibility
You may qualify for this sub-category if you live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, are not a refugee claimant, and:
- You should Score at least 60 points on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) point assessment grid.
- You need at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years (in your intended occupation).
- Have a language score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.
- Some employers or regulators may ask for scores that are higher than CLB 4.
- Be eligible for Saskatchewan licensing (if your intended occupation is in a regulated profession or compulsory apprenticeship trade).
- Have an offer for a permanent, full-time job in Saskatchewan. You will need a valid SINP Job Approval Letter to show proof. There is no specific list of jobs, but your offer must be in an occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B” or “O”, or in a designated trade in Saskatchewan.
- Food and Beverage Servers/Persons should apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category. Health Professionals should apply under the Health Professionals sub-category.
International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry
International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
This sub-category is for skilled workers who:
- wish to live and work in Saskatchewan.
- Have Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry Pool profile .
- Meet the sub-category criteria.
Eligibility
You may qualify if you live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, are not a refugee claimant, and:
- Have a valid Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Code.
- Atleast 60 points on the SINP point assessment grid.
- Need a language test result that meets the federal Express Entry language requirements.
- Have completed post-secondary school or training that is comparable to at least one year of Canadian education. You must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree.
- All education outside Canada, we must submit an educational credential assessment (ECA) from Approved organizations by IRCC.
- Those who have finished training as part of high school do not need to submit an ECA, but must apply for Saskatchewan licensure. For more info contact canad visa point.
- Have experience in a NOC code that is not on the Excluded Occupation List. check Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry Occupation Requirements for eligible occupations.
- The minimum need for work experience is:
- For skilled professionals (not tradespeople): one year work experience in the last 10 years.
- For skilled tradespeople: two years work experience in a skilled trade in the last five years.
- One year work experience in Canada in the last three years (skilled tradespeople and skilled professionals).
- Your above work experience should be in the field of your completed post-secondary education or training.
- Your work experience should be related to your job and education.
- Check SINP Requirements Related to Professional Status or Licensure to see if your job needs specific SINP education requirements.
- You may need to show a Professional Status or proof of eligibility for Licensure for your job.
- Check Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry Occupation Requirements for these requirements. If you are asked to show this, your application will be held. we do not need to show licensure documents unless asked.
- We must include all documents in our application. If our application will be closed if it is missing documents and your application fee will not be returned.

International Skilled Worker: Occupation In-Demand
This sub-category is for skilled workers who:
- Don’t have a job offer in Saskatchewan but are highly skilled in an in-demand occupation.
- We should Meet the eligibility criterias. Criteria can change at any time, contact Canada Visa point before proceeding .
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must pay a non-refundable $350 application fee online by Visa or Mastercard. It is the last step in order to submit your application.
You may qualify if:
- You live outside of Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada
- Are not a refugee claimant
- Score at least 60 points out of 110 on the SINP point assessment grid
- Have a language score of at least 4 – Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
- Some employers may ask for language scores that are higher than CLB 4
- Need to complete post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that’s comparable to that in Canada
- Have earned a diploma, certificate or degree
- If your education did outside of Canada, you should submit an educational credential assessment (ECA) from a designated organization approved by IRCC
- Individuals who have completed trades or job training as part of their high school education must instead apply for Saskatchewan licensure (See Regulated Occupations and Licensing Requirements)
- Have work experience that is high skilled and not on the Excluded Occupation List
- You must have a minimum of one year of full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) paid work experience in a skilled occupation over the last 10 years related to your field of education. Your work experience must be in a high skilled occupation (NOC “0”, “A” or “B”) that is considered to be in-demand in Saskatchewan at the time of your application. 2. Worker with saskatchewan work experience
1. Skilled Worker With Existing Work Permit
This sub-category is for skilled workers who:
Have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months on a valid work permit.
Eligibility
You may qualify if you:
- Received a permanent full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be in National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix “A”, “B” or “O”; or in a designated trade.
- For Food and Beverage, apply under the Hospitality Sector Pilot Project sub-category.
- Have worked more than six months for the employer offering you the job, with a valid work permit. Your job offer should be for the same career you have been working in for the past six months.
- You need at least a score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 if your job offer is in a NOC ‘C’ occupation.

2. Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with Existing Work Permit
This sub-category is for semi-skilled workers who:
1. Have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months with a valid work permit.
Eligibility
You may qualify if you mee the below criteria
- If you Have a permanent full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. The job must be a National Occupation Classification (NOC) of:
- NOC 8431: General Farm Worker.
- NOC 8432: Nursery and Greenhouse Worker.
- Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
- Have worked for more than six months for the employer offering you the job, with a valid work permit. Your job offer should be for the same career that you have been working in for the past six months.
- The SINP has criteria changes over 2019-2021 for specific semi-skilled occupations. If you are not yet working in Saskatchewan, you can apply if you have proof that you worked in Saskatchewan before for at least six months.
- Your work permit must be for:
- Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program.
- International Experience Canada.
- Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
- Have completed the equivalent of Canadian secondary school (high school) or above, with an Educational Credential Assessment approved my IRCC
- You need a score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 if your job offer is in a NOC ‘C’ occupation.

3. Health Professionals
This stream is for skilled workers who:

Physicians
This sub-category is for Physicians who want to apply for permanent residency and:
Have the schooling and professional qualifications to work here.
Eligibility
To qualify you must:
- Have a valid work permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
- Have practiced as a physician in Saskatchewan for a minimum six months.
- Have a permanent, full-time job offer that is:
- Issued by a provincial health authority or the health education institution where you are prsently working.
- Verified with documents that describe your permanent arrangement to practice medicine in Saskatchewan. These could be:
- A business plan or contract.
- A partnership agreement.
- Other documents describing your practice.
- Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
The SINP will also obtain a letter of support from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CoPSS). The letter should state your type of licence, expiry date, and CoPSS’ support for you to become a permanent resident in Saskatchewan.
You can also ask for a letter from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada stating that you are licensed in a particular specialty.The SINP will also obtain a letter of support from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CoPSS). The letter should state your type of licence, expiry date, and CoPSS’ support for you to become a permanent resident in Saskatchewan.

Nurses
This sub-category is for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Psychiatric Nurses or Registered Nurses (RN) who wish to apply for permanent residency and:
Have the schooling and professional qualifications to work here.
Eligibility
To qualify you must:
- You Need a valid work permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
- You Need to practiced as a nurse in Saskatchewan for a minimum six months.
- You Need to have a permanent, full-time job offer from:
- The Saskatchewan Health Authority.
- The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
- Another publicly funded health employer.
- You need a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
The SINP will confirm with the appropriate licensing body that you have an unrestricted licence to practice in Saskatchewan.
Applications from nurses hired by publicly funded health employers who are not covered by nursing collective agreements will be reviewed individually.

4. Students
This sub-category is for students who:
- graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Wish to apply for nomination by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
Eligibility
Students who have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute
You may qualify in this sub-category if:
- You have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan with:
- A certificate.
- A diploma.
- A degree.
- You have worked for a minimum of 6 months (or 780 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan.
- Eligible types of work experience include:
- On-campus
- Off-campus.
- Co-op terms.
- Graduate fellowships that can be verified by your institution.
- Work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit.
- You currently hold a valid post-graduation work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
- You have a permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be:
- In an occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B”, “O”.
- In a designated trade.
- In a designated trade.
- Related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education.
- Food and Beverage Servers must apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category.
- You have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
- You have a minimum language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 if your job offer is in a NOC “C” occupation.
Students who have graduated from an institute in Canada
You may qualify in this sub-category if:
- You have graduated from a program equivalent to at least one academic year (8 months) of full-time study from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada (outside of Saskatchewan) with:
- A certificate.
- A diploma.
- A degree.
- You have applied and received a valid post-graduation work permit from IRCC.
- You worked after graduation with a post-grad work permit for at least six consecutive months (minimum 780 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan in a job related to your field of study.
- Eligible types include work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit.
- You have a permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be:
- In an occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B”, “O”.
- In a designated trade.
- Related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education.
- Food and Beverage Servers must apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category.
- You have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
- You need at least language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 if your job offer is in a NOC ‘C’ occupation.

5. Hospitality Sector Project
This sub-category is for foreign workers who want to apply for permanent residency and:
- Are currently working in Saskatchewan on a temporary work permit.
- Have been working with an SINP Hospitality-approved employer at least six months (780 hours).
- Are working in one of the following jobs:
- Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6513).
- Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6711).
- Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6731).
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- We need a valid work permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) for:
- Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6513).
- Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6711).
- Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6731).
- The SINP has criteria changes over 2019-2021 for specific semi-skilled occupations. If we are not yet working in Saskatchewan, we can apply to the Hospitality Sector category as a Food/Beverage Server. You should have proof that you worked in Saskatchewan before for a minimum of six months as a Food/Beverage Server.
- Have finished at least Grade 12 (or equivalent).
- Work for an employer that has been approved by the SINP. The SINP will deny applications from hospitality sector employees who begin working for their employer before they get SINP approval.
- For find out if your employer is SINP-approved, ask for a copy of their letter of approval.
- Work in Saskatchewan for the employer offering the job for at least six months.
- Have a job offer of permanent, full-time work from an approved Saskatchewan Hospitality employer.
- Need at least Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 4 or higher English ability in all four categories (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

6. Long-Haul Truck Driver Project
This sub-category allows trucking firms to bring long-haul truck drivers to Saskatchewan.
- You must begin working for an approved trucking firm on a temporary foreign work permit.
- If an approved trucking firm offers permanent employment, the trucker may apply to the SINP for permanent resident status after six months of employment.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- You have to work for an SINP-approved Saskatchewan trucking firm for minimum six months on a temporary work permit. The permit must be issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and based on a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from Service Canada.
- The SINP has criteria changes over 2019-2021 for specific semi-skilled occupations. If you are not yet working in Saskatchewan, you can apply if you have proof that you worked in Saskatchewan before for a minimum of six months as a Long-Haul Truck Driver.
- Have a current Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s licence. If you are not yet working in Saskatchewan, you can apply without the Class 1A driver’s licence, but you will need to get it once you arrive.
- Have a full-time, permanent job offer from your employer. Your employer must be an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan.
- Your need a minimum Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 4 or higher English language ability in all four categories (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
- Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

3. Enterprenur
The Entrepreneur Category is for foreign nationals who wish to obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it, while residing in Saskatchewan.
International Graduate Entrepreneur
Through the International Graduate Entrepreneur Category, you can apply to the SINP. You shoud be an international student graduating from a Saskatchewan institution who wish to become an entrepreneur.
Yo need to meet the minimum criteria and You qualify if your business plan is eligible and you:
- Reside in Saskatchewan and are at least 21 years of age.
- • You need to completed a two-year, full-time post-secondary degree or diploma from a Saskatchewan institution while living in the province.
- You need a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit.
- You need a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria to Submit an EOI:
- Are at least 21 years of age.
- You need to completed a full-time post-secondary degree or diploma of at least two years from an eligible Saskatchewan institution.
- You need a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit, with at least 24 months remaining.
- Have lived in Saskatchewan during their academic program (no distance-learning programs or accelerated academic program are eligible).
- You need a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7.
Those who meet eligibility criteria and are invited to apply and should be able to show knowledge of their Business Establishment Plan (BEP).

4. Farm owner and operater
The Farm Owner and Operator Category is for foreign nationals who’d like to move to Saskatchewan and who:
- Have proven experience in farming;
- Have considerable capital (money, assets) to invest in a farming operation; and
- Plan to buy and run a farm in Saskatchewan.
Kindly note this category is strictly for business in primary agricultural production (crops and livestock). If you’re more interested in agri-business operations, you may qualify under the SINP Entrepreneur Category
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must have:
- Available Equity: You should provide financial documents that show a net worth of $500,000 (CAD).
- Refundable Cash Deposit: You should sign a Performance Agreement to purchase and actively operate a farm in Saskatchewan. You will also need to make a “good faith” deposit of $75,000 (CAD) in trust. The cash deposit will be returned when you have met the terms of the Performance Agreement. If you do not meet the terms within two years of being in Saskatchewan, the deposit will be paid to the Province.
- Mandatory visit to Saskatchewan: You must make an exploratory visit to Saskatchewan for at least 10 working days.
- Farm operation knowledge and experience: You must provide documentation that demonstrates you are an experienced farm operator. We may verify this further through an interview.
- A practical, well-thought-out proposal for a commercial Saskatchewan farming opportunity. (See Important Terms: Farm Proposal Viability).
