Every year approx. 2,80,000 new outside workers come to Canada with Temporary Work Permits
As a common rule, outside workers require a work permit to work in Canada on a temporary basis but some rare exceptions are also there.
If you wish to take a Canadian Temporary Work permit you are required to go-through a multi-step process, and it will take several weeks. There are multiple ways to get a work permit and its depends on your occupation, nationality, skills and intended work in Canada.
If a Canadian Employer needs to send a temporary work permit to a foreign worker, they have to provide either an approval from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) or an Offer of Employment number approved by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
As per your country of citizenship you may need to take a Temporary Resident Visa (TR-V) to move to Canada.
